The Rules
We want all owners and their best friends to have fun, be safe and enjoy the freedom of Saltway Fields. So, we need some rules for dogs and humans to follow.
1
We will report anyone we see or suspect of using the area to train or engage in illegal dog sports. No excuses, no arguments.
2
All dogs are allowed, but banned breeds must follow government protocol*
3
When you book, you get exclusive use for you and your dog/s. Family members welcome, but please don’t invite the whole pack! Please allow 10 minutes at the end of your session for you to exit so the field is clear for the next person.
4
Pick up your poo, we know its big open space but lots of dogs means lots of poo.
5
Please don’t leave litter or anything behind that doesn’t grow, or naturally arrive in our fields. That includes Poo bags – they don’t grow on trees and there are bins provided.
6
Saltway Fields is for dogs and their humans, so, please no picnics, BBQ’s or tea parties on site.
7
Be polite, be friendly, and dogs, make
sure your humans behave the same!
8
Please take note of the Country Code –
which can be found here.
*Banned breeds protocol:
1 to 1 handler
Lead and muzzle until in the field and gate is closed
Copy of exemption and public liability must be shown. Contact details below.
